NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A sustainable food producer is expanding its Wilson County facility, creating more than 200 jobs, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNEDC) announced Wednesday.
Bridgetown Natural Foods, along with Gov. Lee, Deputy Gov. and TNEDC Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter, announced that the company will be expanding their operations in Wilson County.
“Companies across the nation know that Tennessee’s strong business climate and skilled workforce make the Volunteer State the best place to do business. We are proud to join Bridgetown in announcing the creation of nearly 240 new jobs that will create greater opportunity for families across Middle Tennessee, and we thank them for their investment,” Gov. Lee said.
With the expansion, Bridgetown will be creating 237 new jobs. The company will also be installing a new $24.1 million food production line at its Lebanon facility, which the TNEDC said will begin immediately and increase productivity through the end of the year.

The TNEDC said when the expansion is complete, Bridgetown will have more than 450 team members in Tennessee.
