Fire destroys Catoosa County commercial building housing three businesses
CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. — Firefighters in Catoosa County spent Wednesday afternoon battling a blaze that destroyed a commercial building housing three businesses.
Catoosa County Government says 911 callers reported the fire around 1:30 p.m. on Stubby Lane.
Crews from Catoosa County Fire Department stations 1, 3, 6, 7 and 9, along with command staff, arrived to find heavy smoke and fire conditions.
The City of East Ridge Fire Rescue and the Georgia Department of Corrections Fire Services GDC 9 provided mutual aid at the scene.
Catoosa County Government did not say which businesses were affected.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
