Rep. Pingree to hold forum on deadly ICE shooting in Biddeford
BIDDEFORD, Maine (WGME) -- Congresswoman Chellie Pingree is expected to hold a forum Monday on the deadly ICE shooting in Biddeford.
Pingree's office says she will be joined by several other Democratic lawmakers for what she is calling a "shadow hearing."
Pingree says the forum will provide an opportunity to hear from the family of Johan Sebastian Duran Guerrero, local leaders and others who can speak about how the shooting has affected their community.
Duran Guerrero was shot and killed by an ICE agent while in his car at the corner of Pool and Hill streets in Biddeford on July 13.
