We are so fortunate to live in a thriving school community where children benefit from the strong, family-oriented community that surrounds them.
Whether they attend Pequot Lakes Public Schools, are homeschooled or attend another school, the children in our community are supported by families, businesses and civic organizations throughout the school district.

From Pequot Lakes, Breezy Point, Crosslake, Jenkins, Ideal Corners and Lake Shore to Nisswa, businesses and civic organizations continually invest in our children and their futures.
That support takes many forms — from volunteering at the Senior Reality Store and hosting a booth at our high school career fair, to donating resources, providing student internships and simply sharing their time and expertise.
This strong partnership between our schools and community is one of the reasons we continue to welcome new families to the district each year. This school year, the district is welcoming approximately 1,750 students in grades K–12, including more than 122 students who are new to the district.
Some of the largest increases in enrollment are in third grade, with 13 new students; fifth grade, with 22; sixth grade, with 15; and ninth grade, with 12. Our newest families are joining us from Nebraska, Alaska, Texas, Idaho, Montana and Washington.
We are grateful for the many ways our community embraces children and families. The investment of our businesses, civic organizations, families and community members helps make this a special place to learn, grow and build a future — and we are proud to welcome every new student and family to our school community.
