Driver crashes into Avondale home after being shot; 2 hospitalized
The Avondale Fire Department is treating a driver who drove through a home near Van Buren Street and Fairway Drive Friday night after being shot.
In a release, officials said they responded to the area after someone drove through a home, and once on scene, they found the driver suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officials said a resident was also treated for minor injuries. Both were taken to the hospital.
It is unclear where the driver was shot before driving into the home.
