HOPE, Ark. -- The Hempstead County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal incident that occurred early Sunday in the 900 block of Springlake Road in Spring Hill.
At approximately 2:32 a.m., deputies were dispatched to Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center in reference to an incident that had occurred on Springlake Road. Queyla Orozco, 23, had been transported to the hospital in an unresponsive condition at approximately 2:11 a.m.
Responding deputies were told that Orozco jumped from a moving vehicle after an argument with her boyfriend and driver of the vehicle. At 2:52 a.m., Orozco was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Orozco's body was transported to the Arkansas State Crime lab to determine the manner and cause of death.
HCSO is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Orozco's death. Anyone with information concerning this incident is encouraged to contact the Sheriff's Office.
