CROOKSTON — On Wednesday, Aug. 5, the family of a Fosston, Minnesota, man will rally outside the Polk County Courthouse.
On June 8, TeeJay Alveraz, 31, was shot and killed inside an apartment complex in Fosston.

The man accused of shooting and killing him was arrested, but released hours later.
At the time, the county prosecutor said he wanted to review all the evidence in the case before moving forward.
That could still take a few more weeks.
Alvarez' family said waiting for answers has been difficult.
"To me ... it's like a nightmare still. I can't, in my mind, I'm still not like believing it," said Maria Carrisalez, TeeJay's mother.
That rally is at 2 p.m. in Crookston.
