MADISONVILLE, Ky. — Madisonville Community College will host a special announcement Wednesday to unveil a significant addition to its aviation program.
The announcement, scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts, will highlight the acquisition of an aircraft for the college's aviation program through a partnership with the Kentucky Department of Aviation.
College officials said the aircraft will enhance hands-on training opportunities for students while strengthening aviation workforce development efforts throughout the region.
The event will be held at the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts, 2000 College Drive in Madisonville. Representatives from the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, Madisonville Community College leadership, and community and education stakeholders are expected to attend.
