Mississippi man charged with statutory rape and kidnapping of 14-year-old girl
Jackson police have arrested a man who is charged with statutory rape, kidnapping and enticement.
The investigation began Aug. 15, when a Youth Services detective was contacted by precinct officers about a domestic dispute involving a 14-year-old girl and a 26-year-old man later identified as Hashim Ben-Yisrayl.

Investigators said that over the course of several events, Ben-Yisrayl had driven to the girl's home in Columbus, Mississippi, and transported her to his residence in Jackson.
Child Protective Services was also contacted regarding the incident.
Ben-Yisrayl is being held at the Raymond Detention Center on a combined bond of $6 million.
