ALSO TO BE A PLACE OF CONVENING.THIS SUMMER, THEY’RE PARTNERING WITH THE AMERICAN CONVERSATION PROJECT.THEY’LL COLLECT THOUGHTS AND STORIES ABOUT WHERE WE ARE TODAY AND HOPE AND DIRECTION FOR THE partnering with the American Conversation Project this summer to collect stories and reflections from Oklahomans as part of the nation’s 250th birthday celebration."Well, we feel like our role as a memorial museum is to remember, but also to be a place of convening," said Stephen Evans, director of education and public programming.The museum will host small group conversations throughout the summer to gather thoughts on community, hope, and direction for the future."Throughout the entire summer, we'll be scheduling small group conversations where we'll just face to face, ask people, you know, what they what they're thinking about, about, you know, their community, how they fit into that community, what they hope for the future.And it's just an exciting way to tie in our signature program, Better Conversations, with this project that's happening around the country," Evans said.The conversations will be preserved in the National Archives to document the nation’s 250th year and will also help assess civic health in Oklahoma."So, these conversations are not just going to live in the spaces where they're being, you know, where they're taking place.They're going to be, essentially, put into the National Archives, right?To forever remember where we were as a country in this 250th year.In addition to that, we're going to use it to help us understand our civic health
