City leaders extend deadline for Oklahoma City Brand Initiative Survey to July 17

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — City leaders are extending the deadline for community input on the Oklahoma City Brand Initiative Survey until July 17.

The initiative is part of an effort to reshape the community brand and better represent Oklahoma City's culture and identity.

City leaders said the initiative is more than a new slogan or logo and is built to create an authentic image of Oklahoma City. By participating, Oklahoma City residents can directly influence how the city represents the community.

"Every strong civic brand starts with listening. We know Oklahoma City is complex and diverse, so to reveal a community brand that reflects this will take deep listening and community input," said Jenny Love Meyer, chief culture officer at Love’s Travel Stops and chair of the OKC Brand Task Force. "Our hope is for local residents and businesses to engage in this process since we are all ambassadors for OKC."

The 10-minute survey is open to residents, business owners, and visitors with a connection to Oklahoma City.

Survey responses are confidential according to city officials. The deadline to take the survey is July 17.
