Johnstown man identified as victim of fatal Maryland crash
A Johnstown man has been identified as the victim of a deadly crash in western Maryland.
The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office said 55-year-old Aaron Keith Blackwell of Johnstown was killed in the August 2 crash on Route 144 in Flintstone.
Investigators said Blackwell was positively identified using dental records after the Maryland Office of the Medical Examiner contacted the sheriff’s office’s crash team.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.
