Relish the moment: Middle Tennessee's Pickle Festival returns this fall
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WZTV) — Fall festival season is about to get a little more dill-icious. The Middle Tennessee Pickle Festival returns to Murfreesboro with food trucks, shopping, live music and enough pickles to satisfy every craving.
The Middle Tennessee Pickle Festival is a one-day outdoor festival held on Saturday, Sept. 5, in Murfreesboro at Hop Springs.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and costs $5 to enter. Admission is cash only.
The festival features more than 150 vendors from six states, 15-plus food trucks, live music, eating and drinking competitions, and family activities including a free petting zoo, pony rides and face painting.
Attendees can also browse handmade art, jewelry, candles and boutique items, along with creative pickle-themed food and drinks like pickle pizza, fried pickles and pickle pina coladas.
The 83-acre Hop Springs venue includes walking trails, a creek and a dog park. Dogs are welcome.
