Mother charged with murder in baby's death in LaGrange County
LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WSBT) — A mother has been charged with murder after the death of her baby in Shipshewana.
On April 6, the Indiana State Police were called to a home in Shipshewana to investigate the death of an infant.
During the investigation, detectives found evidence to charge 24-year-old Chantel Cunningham.
Cunningham was charged with Murder and Neglect of a Dependent, Causing Death.
She was taken into custody and is being held at LaGrange County Jail.
