Dacia is the digital content manager at WESH 2.

Dacia joined WESH in April after spending three years as the digital content manager at KPNX-TV in Phoenix. Prior to that, she spent time at KUSA-TV in Denver, The Denver Post and USA Today Network/TCPalm in South Florida.

Dacia graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She obtained her Master of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Florida with an emphasis in digital and social media. Dacia has worked as an adjunct faculty at the University of Colorado Boulder and Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University.

In her career, she has covered major events as a digital journalist including the Pulse nightclub shooting, the Boulder grocery store massacre, several hurricanes and wildfires, and a deep dive into juvenile convicted killers in Florida getting the chance to be resentenced.

In her free time, Dacia enjoys being outside in the water or in a hammock reading. She’s mom to two potbelly pigs and a cat named Kitty.
