Wayne Co. Schools staff member no longer employed by district after accusations of ‘inappropriate conduct’

WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Wayne County Schools announced on Wednesday that a staff member accused of “inappropriate conduct” is no longer employed by the district.

A statement from Superintendent Brian Dishman confirmed that the district conducted an internal investigation and has reported the findings to appropriate agencies, per Kentucky law and district policy.

The superintendent said that the district takes such allegations seriously to ensure the safety of its students.

The employee’s name and the extent of the allegations have not been released.
