Rozanna Benson Snow, 78, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026 surrounded by family. Born on October 28, 1947, in Salt Lake City, UT, she was the oldest of four children born to Winston Lyle and Katie Elizabeth Muse Benson. Rozanna spent her childhood years in Salt Lake City, UT, and Eugene, OR. While Brigham City would ultimately become her lifelong home, Eugene always held a uniquely special place in her heart. It was in Brigham City that Rozanna met the love of her life, Leon Aaron Snow. The two were wed in the Logan Temple on July 19, 1968.
From her earliest days, Rozanna’s greatest and most profound ambition in life was to be a mother. When that dream came true, she was absolutely thrilled by the arrival of each of her three children. They became her center, and she poured her entire soul into raising them.Though Rozanna held many different jobs throughout her lifetime, her true and most cherished calling was that of a caregiver. Blessed with a generous spirit, she spent her life looking after her children, her parents, her siblings, her nieces, her nephews, and anyone else who found themselves in need of a helping hand.
Rozanna was a dedicated, faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in several positions within the church over the years, though her favorite calling was working in the Primary. Beyond her family and faith, Rozanna possessed a vibrant, creative soul and a wonderful spirit of adventure. She found great joy in painting and crafts, and she loved nothing more than taking long rides on her motorcycle. Known for her amazing sense of humor and her truly infectious laugh, she brought light and warmth into every room she entered.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Snow; her son, Matt Snow; her parents, Winston and Katie Benson; and her sister-in-law, Sheila Benson.
Rozanna leaves behind a family who loved her dearly, including her daughter, Angie (Cole) Reyburn; her son, Steve Snow; and her three beloved grandchildren, Ky, Nate, and Logan Shinkle—all of whom she loved more than life. She is also survived by her siblings, Rebecca Roper, Greg (Sandy) Benson, and Joe Benson, also many nieces and nephews.
The family will hold private services in Brigham City, UT, to honor and celebrate Rozanna's life. The family would also like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Maple Springs and The Lighthouse for their love and care over the last 6 years.
