MCMINNVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A months-long investigation into illegal drug distribution involving multiple agencies ended with more than two dozen arrests this week in Warren County, Tennessee.
The McMinnville Police Department released the results of “Operation Freedom Revoked” overnight. The operation was a joint effort between McMinnville Police, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to dismantle the illegal distribution of methamphetamine, crack cocaine and illegal prescription medications in the county.
The department reported that 24 indictments were served and 26 individuals were arrested.
“Operation Freedom Revoked is a testament to what can be accomplished when law enforcement agencies work together with a shared commitment to protecting our community,” the McMinnville Police chief said. “I want to commend our Narcotics Unit for their tireless work throughout this investigation, as well as our patrol officers who assisted in today’s operation.”
