Midwest City man faces up to 5 years in federal prison for alleged threat against Trump.Federal grand jury indicts Midwest City man over alleged threat against President Trump OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.(KOKH) — A Midwest City man is charged with allegedly making a threat against President Donald Trump.Attorney Robert J.Troester's office said 46-year-old Howard Raymond Gimmey from Midwest City was charged with making a threat against the President of the United States.On May 5, 2026, Gimmey posted "I'm going to kill the President..." on a social media website, according to a federal indictment.The Indictment alleges that Gimmey knowingly and willfully made the communication and did so with recklessness as to whether it would be viewed as a true threat of violence against the President of the United States.Gimmey was charged on June 2, 2026, by a federal grand jury with making a threat against the president.If found guilty, Troester's office said Gimmey faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.For more local news delivered straight to your inbox, sign up for our daily newsletter by clicking here.
