CLEVELAND (WJW) — Northeast Ohio's own Machine Gun Kelly is coming back to Cleveland this weekend in celebration of his namesake day.

Declared official in 2022, MGK Day returns the weekend of Aug. 8, with the rapper/rocker himself performing along with Wiz Khalifa.

Friday, Aug. 7
Red Bull Best Trick Contest
Crooked River Skatepark, 1785 Merwin Ave., Cleveland
5 p.m.
Skateboarding, yes, but also live music and food trucks.
Saturday, Aug. 8
MGK Day Tailgate
North Coast Yard, 515 Erieside Ave., Cleveland
Noon
It's all about the car decorations and celebrating in the parking lot
Harley-Davidson City Ride
South East Harley-Davidson, 23105 Aurora Rd., Bedford Heights
2 p.m. meetup, moving out at 3 p.m.
MGK Day Art + Community Festival
North Coast Yard, 515 Erieside Ave., Cleveland
Gates at 3 p.m., music at 6 p.m.
MGK and Wiz Khalifa headlining, but expect other live music along with food trucks and fireworks
