Woman dies in Elmore County crash The crash remains under investigation. Published: Jun. 21, 2026 at 12:04 PM MDT|Updated: 1 hour ago MOUNTAIN HOME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a single-vehicle crash that happened early Sunday morning. The incident happened at 4:07 a.m. at milepost 84.5 on Interstate 84 eastbound in Elmore County, authorities said. A 21-year-old woman from Boise, Idaho, was heading east on Interstate 84 in a Subaru Crosstrek. The driver went off the road into the median, overcorrected and overturned, coming to rest on the right shoulder, ISP said in a release. The woman died at the scene.
