Robbyn Metz, the president of the West Perry School District Board, faces multiple charges of retail theft after allegedly stealing over $850 worth of merchandise from a store in Carroll Township, Pennsylvania. The 63-year-old, who worked part-time at Willow & Wildfire, was accused of taking items without paying between January 13 and February 21, 2025.
According to the charging documents filed by Pennsylvania State Police, the store manager became suspicious after noticing discrepancies in sales records and reviewing security footage. The footage allegedly showed Metz leaving the store with merchandise on multiple occasions. Metz, however, claimed to police that she paid for the items in cash and acted as a vendor at the store.
Metz was fired from her position at the store on February 24, 2025, and is awaiting arraignment on the charges. She has served as the school board president since 2023 and was re-elected in 2025. West Perry Superintendent Lucas Clouse acknowledged the charges, stating, "The Board and administration are aware of the charges. At this time, we have no further comment."
The case continues to unfold as Metz prepares for her legal proceedings.
