Post Falls, Idaho — The Idaho 200 returned to Stateline Speedway this weekend with local racers, a packed schedule and added attention from Kevin Harvick.
The 27th annual race was part of the CARS Tour Northwest Series. Qualifying races started at 5:30 p.m. and the main race was set for 7:30 p.m. Saturday night, with the local hobby stock race ahead of it.
A field of 32 racers was set to compete. Local favorites included Haeden Plybon from Mead and Ethan Ebert, who races out of Naches, Washington.
One of the biggest names in the field was 2014 Cup Series champion Kevin Harvick. Earlier this year, he led every lap in the Road to the Idaho 200.
Organizers said Harvick’s participation was bringing even more attention to the event.
