Missing Colchester man found dead in wildlife area COLCHESTER, Vt. (WCAX) - Colchester Police Department say they found 20-year-old Logan Buchanan dead at the Malletts Creek Wildlife Management Area. It happened Friday evening when Colchester Police said they got a call about a missing man around 5p.m. Officials found Buchanan’s truck at the Malletts Creek Wildlife Management Area parking lot a short time later. Units from Colchester PD, Milton PD, and Vermont State Police were on the scene Saturday morning and confirmed they were continuing to search for Buchanan. Officers discovered Buchanan dead around 11:46 a.m. Saturday in the Malletts Creek Wildlife Management Area. The Vermont Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death. Police said the death is not considered suspicious. Colchester Police were assisted by Colchester Technical Rescue, Milton Police, Vermont State Police and Vermont Fish and Wildlife.
