Teen stable after being stabbed outside Subway in Sodus, police say
Sodus, N.Y. — New York State Police said a teen was in stable condition at Strong Memorial Hospital following a stabbing outside a restaurant in Wayne County.
Police said they responded to the parking lot of Subway on West Main Street in Sodus around 8:10 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a stabbing.
Two 17-year-old boys "who have a history of altercations" got into a fight in the parking lot, with one suffering a stab wound to the abdomen, according to police. The suspect "was identified and returned to the scene by his parents" after they learned police were looking for him.
The incident remains under investigation.
