KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. - Two people are in jail and a third is on the run after a shooting on Sprague River Road left two people wounded.
Deputies responded to the 22000 block of Sprague River Road around 8:19 p.m. Tuesday, June 30 for a report that two people had shot each other. When they arrived, they found 40-year-old Jesse Leese with a single gunshot wound. Leese was taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center for treatment.
Summer Swager, 46, was also taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center with minor injuries. She was later released.
The Klamath County Major Crime Team took over the investigation. 46-year-old Adam Keenan is now in the Klamath County Jail facing attempted murder charges. One suspect remains at large as the investigation continues.
According to the Klamath County Sheriff's Office, this was an isolated incident between the people involved. The Major Crime Team includes the Klamath County Sheriff's Office, Klamath Falls City Police, Oregon State Police and the Klamath County District Attorney's Office.
