Georgia DoorDash driver found dismembered, neighbor charged with murder – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
Police in Smyrna, Georgia, said Friday they found the dismembered remains of a woman stuffed into garbage bags inside a car trunk at an apartment complex this week. The victim, Shanteria Mosley — known to family and friends as “KT” — worked as a DoorDash delivery driver. I don’t know how else to describe it,” Lt. Meredith Holt, the public information officer for the Smyrna Police Department, said at a press conference on Friday. “I’ve been in law enforcement for 25 years, and I have been a part of multiple homicide cases, and I worked crimes against children for 16 years, and this is a particularly gruesome crime.” Create a free account with NBC 5 DFW to save articles and videos. “I cannot imagine what the family is going through,” Holt added. Mosley’s body was discovered while checking the car at Park Valley Apartments in response to a missing person report earlier in the week. Authorities waited for officials from the Cobb County medical examiner’s office to arrive at the complex before opening the bags to confirm they contained body parts, according to a news release. U.S. & World Kingston Bradley of Smyrna, Georgia, was arrested and charged with concealing the death of another and malice murder in connection with Mosley’s death. Police said Bradley lives with his father at Park Valley Apartments, where the body was found. Holt did not say whether Bradley and Mosley knew each other prior to the incident but said authorities are still investigating how the two were connected. Holt said the victim was not working the day she was killed. Neither DoorDash nor Mosley's family members immediately returned requests for comment.
